The Farm

We are beyond excited to bring you this coffee from Nicaragua and our friends at Gold Mountain Coffee growers for a second year! This was one of our favorite coffees last year, due not only to it’s qualities, but the the story behind it. Working closely with farmers around them, the social enterprise that is Gold Mountain helps to provide many needed community services and provides many small farmers a way to sell directly to roasters at a higher price. This particular lot comes from Don Edgar Amador’s  farm, 1,300 meters above sea level, in the mountains between Matapagala and Jinotega. This washed Catuai and Caturra is beautiful, with a medium body and  notes of Nectarine, Apricot and Nutella. We hope you enjoy this coffee (and knowing it helps people) as much as we do!
