The Farm
Manuel Arias Rojas was a pioneer of coffee as a crop in the in the Palmichal region of Costa Rica. When he died the farm was left to his only sister, Romelia, who continued to produce exceptional coffee. The family eventually sold the farm, but it still produces excellent coffee and bears Romelia’s name as a tribute. Located on the western slopes of the Escazú Mountains and grown in between 1,200-1,600 MASL, this blend of Caturra and Catuaí is a very smooth, sweet and balanced cup, great for daily drinking. When brewed we find tasting notes of Milk Chocolate, Pear, and Caramel.
