We always get excited when Kenyan coffees are in season and we delighted to share this stunning example with you. Grown at the Windrush Estate in the highlands of the Kiambu region this coffee is a great example of what Kenyan coffees can be like. Made up 4 varietals (SL 28 , SL 34, Ruiru 11, Batian) and grown at an altitude of 1500 meters, this coffee get picked and delivered to the wet mill on the same day. Careful sorting and sun drying on raised beds help preserve and highlight the beautiful acidity and rich sweetness of this coffee. We find tasting notes of Candied Orange Peel, Red Currant and a Rose finish.
