Kenya produces bright, sweet, and acidic coffees, with lots of complexities. We love it when we get a new one in and this coffee from the Kiriga Estate is a great example of why. Dr. Brian Gakunga inherited the farm from his Grandfather and some trees on the farm are up to 70 years old. Grown at 1500 MASL this washed coffee is a blend of SL-28, SL-34, Ruiru 11, Batian varietals. It has a beautiful, heavy body, well-developed sweetness, vibrant acidity and tasting notes of Blackberry, Kiwi, and Guava.
