House Blend is a coffee designed for our favorite restaurant partners — built to be enjoyed with food, with balanced flavors that hold their own at the table rather than disappearing between bites. The response from our community was so strong that we've opened it up to everyone. If you love coffee with brunch or simply reach for something chocolatey and caramel-forward, this one's for you.
The blend changes components seasonally to keep things fresh while staying true to the profile you know, and right now House is made up of 100% Mexico Mafafas. A small coffee-growing municipality in Veracruz, Mafafas is farmed across 1,350–1,800 masl, where producers manage shade using ice-cream bean, oak, and pine trees to buffer a volatile microclimate prone to cold northern winds. A frost four years ago killed most of the community's coffee plants, and the crop is still in recovery with young trees and heavily pruned lots. Cherry is hand-harvested and transported to a central washing station in Coatepec, where it undergoes a 48-hour concrete tank fermentation followed by 60 hours of mechanical drying.
