Double Trouble

The #00 Double Zero Blend can do it all. Built for versatility, it's crafted to bring balance and character to any brew method. Currently a two-origin blend of Colombia El Meridiano and Ethiopia Hadeso, Double Zero balances sweetness, body, and clarity in the cup.

  • Colombia El Meridiano comes from an association of 58 smallholder farmers near Río Blanco in Tolima, a region whose microclimates allow nearly year-round harvests. We buy two quality tiers from these producers, giving us flexibility in roasting while deepening our relationship with the community. 

  • Ethiopia Guji Shakiso Hadeso is sourced from a remote woreda in Ethiopia's Guji region, about 500 kilometers south of Addis Ababa, where 500 smallholder farmers deliver cherry to the Hadeso washing station. Farmers intercrop coffee with native false banana trees for shade and soil fertility, and collection centers return organic compost back to producers — keeping the farming system tightly closed and sustainable. The coffee is fermented in cement tanks for 36–48 hours, then dried under greenhouse for five to seven days, producing the clean, complex cup character Guji is known for.

Together, these coffees create a blend that is round, sweet, and easy to dial in — perfect for everyday brewing and espresso bars alike. Expect notes of citrus, stone fruit, milk chocolate, and caramel.
